The Best Healthy Restaurants In Santiago

I'm going to be honest, Santiago is not the easiest place to find organic, vegan food. Unlike it's neighbor Peru, Santiago does not pride itself on many national cuisines nor does it grow top quality produce. Sadly enough the country has opened its doors to highly processed refined sugars and grains. White bread, white sugar, meat, and (scarce) conventional produce haunt the city streets of Chile's capital.

I never let this stop me from traveling though! I scoured Santiago for my favorite restaurants with vegan (and sometimes) organic options and managed to find some staples during my stay. Some of which I would even be happy to find in the states. These are mostly centered around the barrio I was living in - Santa Lucia. So don't go hungry in Santiago - Eat here :)
